"Today's decisions are tomorrow's realities" --Storey

Tim Storey said “today’s decisions are tomorrow’s realities.” (See his blog <"http://www.getstorey.com">here). That’s a powerful thought. If you treated all your decisions as a direct influence on your future, you’d probably be a lot more careful about making them.

Ha ha! Tim Storey made a really good (and fun) point in his blog today. He said “In Luke 12:22 Jesus said, “If he takes care of the birds of the air, how much more will take care of us?” As I like to say, when was the last time you saw a stressed out bird? In other words, don’t sweat the small stuff because God is truly in control.” I especially like his joke about stressed-out birds. Ha ha! I just found <http://www.getstorey.com> Tim Storey’s new web site and I love it. I liked his old one, but this is just cool! I love all the videos and stuff. They really show what Tim is all about and how he can help you.

If any of you haven’t read Tim Storey’s book, Utmost Living, you should go and buy a copy right now. It’s one of the best aids to getting your life the way you want it that I have ever seen. I’ve heard of him and I was worried that it would be super preachy and stuff, but it wasn’t. He talks about his faith a little but he mostly just talks practically about what you can do to make your life more what you want. I loved it!

Tim Storey keeps Positive!

I like what Tim says on the life coaching page of his web site. He says life is fluid and that the key to everything is learning to use changes as opportunities for learning and growth. I’d never really thought about that seriously, but now I think I could. His website is www.getstorey.com.

Tim Storey says hold on!

I like knowing that Tim didn’t come from a rich family or anything. It’s easier for me to believe what he says about holding on and your comeback being on the way because I know he has gone through lots of the same things. He is someone you can trust.

Utmost Living by Tim

I read Tim Storey’s book, Utmost Living, and used his methodology in an inservice at work. I had my employees make the lists, just like it says in the book and asked them to think about their lists. I could see people’s attitudes start to change almost immediately. Then I had them do something similar, but focused on their job and our company. Now my employees laugh more and just seem generally happier—and that means productivity and quality are both up!
